The beginning of the story was the next. Discussion was being done with a PC communication regarding the whether if EP-CONCEPT is reconstructed how performance be produced good more.

The weight of 30 engine Helis is EP-CONCEPTs of 2 unit minutes. Is not it possible flight if I incorporate power devices for concept 2 unit to 30 engine Helis? Simply thinking the part of the radio control unit is good in one. Also a rotor is big and it is more advantageous than EP-CONCEPT dynamically air with it. I intended to be possible materialize probably. Thereupon, I write and do the case to a net.

As soon as it does it so Mr.Furui Mr.Kouro Mr.Shiraisi and others were started an experiment. As for I a substantial experiment was not produced due to a budget.
Even I experimented. It had the clutch and gear etc. of SHUTTLE that disappeared and be from a net colleague offered and was experimenting motor direct association SHUTTLE and gear drive CONCEPT etc.

At that time SHUTTLE was used. It is the same gear ratio as an engine to to it. NOVAC@ESC.@motor and Nicd Battery@pack were connected to a parallel. This was a very thoughtless experiment. However, even this one minute was doing a hovering.

Mr.Kouro Mr.Shiroishi and Mr. Furui were materialized hovering and up in the air flight in 5 minutes.

I am usual halfway Kouro style SHUTTLE and Shiroishi style CONCEPT were being produced as.

I happend to got a used SHUTTLE HUGHES 500 of with an PC net.
Therefore the desire that I produce obtained.

1. Material
   It is the old SHUTTLE that I obtained with an used. The gear that used it is next thing. Pinion gear of standardized goods of KYOUIKU GEAR INDUSTRY. It is the gear for the car of TAMIYA MODEL CO.

   It matches only a short main rotor because a model is old. I exchanged it to a long pipe and a belt to solve it. And the belt is few resistance type of K & S production.

2. About a gear
   It is model No. of a gear
   Pinion Gear is S1S8L-1206 (carbon steel for module 1 machine structure). It is 25T of Tamiya model to attach to a motor.
   A counter gear is same it is 66T super gear made of Tamiya model.
   With this a deceleration ratio is 25.41:1.
   

   

   About a motor

   A motor is using alpha 414 of YOKOMO model co. Wiring is connecting to a series with a thick silicon cord. Cut the ground that is connected to a motor can from plus of motor itself. Becoming condition which 2 motors were grounded through motor mounting, when it does not do it this way the motor of an other side stops revolving.

   Period with an amplifier is connecting with a direct solder. The prevention of noise for a ceramic condenser being attached to 1 motor 3 are being used.

   Motor mounting. and Axis bace.

   I worried most with a loading method of a motor. The beginning thought a Mr,Kouro style. However, a body and motors have interfered in this method.

   Thereupon, it thought to set to the department and attach an engine place. Extending a drive axis from pinion gear as a result a deceleration system was established to the lower part.

   I cut off this bace from aluminum boards of 3mm. 60mm~100mm.
   I attach it to the body by the block of aluminum.
   And a frame in engine mounting of the purity to now and a hole is opened in the upper part at same intervals. And open hole to frame up to the engne mount.

   pinion gear and an extension drive shaft

   long axis of piniongear does molding so that enters a tail rotor doriven pulley. If electromotion glinder is used it is easy. I plane off the corners the thickness 1mm with respect to 24mm.
   As for the place where falls into the bearing on the side of under a section gets left just as a circle without shaving.
   It glues and connects for the axis of a short one with a carbon shaft made by Tamiya by using the inside diameter 6 mm aluminum pipe. Epoxy glue was used for this.    Pinion gear plugs to a bearing and only be inserting a pulley. There is not the support of the upper part like SHUTTLE ZXX. It is fixing with a screw from the side by using a wheel stopper.
   

   
   

   Electric speed control unit

   FX35D was used by advice of an experiment and people that were succeeded previously. @
   Because of this it became series drive method of 16 cells.
   The current capacity of an amplifier is necessary 2 times when it is a parallel drive. If only the highest voltage pays attention when it is a series it is good.
   I want to use BEC without using the different power supply. Therefore the power supply was connected from place of 8 cells. And it is wired to 3 terminal IC 6V type.

   About a battery

   2 packs of SCRC-SP/1700mAh 8 cells . @
   A battery holder made so that a section becomes C model and bend and process 0.3 mm aluminum board.
   It is attaching it with screw 2 to a frame.
   Also connecting and touching a battery holder of the right and left with an aluminum material with the front lower part it is as stopping.

   About the reduction of weight.

   A body is heavy to be prepared glass fiber.

   About a mast
   

   There is 75g weight to' a standard mast is made to of iron. @Even I was planning the production in a stainless steel pipe of the style of Mr.Flaing. However, Because I was able to obtain duralumin mast of TBEE CRAFT, I exchanged it.

   Landing gear

   A Landing gear is made of duralumin and be fairly heavy. Thereupon, it made it with a tail pipe that received turned the part of a leg from a friends.

Do the assembly of every part so that resistance moves smoothly as less as possible. It is to do properly although a gear combines and bites it to use power that was limited effectively.

Do not push a bearing strongly with a stopper and a gear. Even piniongear opens a gap to to a stopper and a bearing barely similarly.

Enjoy Radio controll model that is able to experiment and is able to produce is able to design is able to make a plan with oneself that there is not even a taboo even a term because this is a hobby.
